The first session of Okubo Momiji (26) vocals and harp and Takeuchi Tomoyasu (47) guitar was held at Shibuya's long-established club, THE ROOM.

In 2015, Sara Maeda (29) sax introduced them to each other.

After that, the three members played many blues jams, focusing on Okubo Momiji's specialty, Boogie, and in 2019, they formed a band called Momiji & Bluestones with the addition of Okanda Tomohiko (44) bass and Shirane Yoshinao (37) drums, two members who currently support the band KREVA. Their first tournament was held at GRASS ROOTS in Yokohama.

In 2020, the blues duo in the peace, which had gained popularity nationwide, went on hiatus, and Junpei Kosaka (35) guitar, who was looking for a place to perform, joined the Bluestones, and they grew into Momiji & The Bluestones. In the same year, they recorded their first album, "TIME MACHINE". Junpei Kosaka is such a guitarist that he calls Junji Yamagishi every day.

In 2021, they plan to hold regular events at Motosumiyoshi POWERS 2, inviting guests.
