There are two U.S. bands that utilize the name Obadiah:

1) Obadiah is a ska band out of Indiana, in their current incarnation since 2004, which consists of: Nathan Kreider (lead vocals/rhythm guitar), Ben Kreider (bass/backing vocals), Bryan Johnson (drums), Dave Roberts (trombone), Wes Reynolds (saxophone/backing vocals), and John Galligher (lead guitar). Released the demo EP Save it for Later independently in early 2006. Currently touring around Indiana. Uses many influences, from mid-90's garage rock to third-wave ska to punk and also pop-punk. Noted penchant for exuberant and ridiculous live performances.

2) Obadiah Parker is a folk-pop band from Scottsdale, Arizona comprised of Mat Weddle (vocals, guitar), Jessie Young (piano/keyboards, trumpet, vocals), and Daniel Zehring (bass, vocals). The band has recorded an EP and a live CD, both of which contain a mixture of covers and original material. Weddle has also appeared in a popular video, propagated on the internet, playing an acoustic cover of Outkast's "Hey Ya". Read more on Last.fm.
