the disestablishment was a 3-piece alternative rock band from st. louis missouri, active from 2018 to 2021. it was made up of singer and guitarist lucas bernstein, bassist phoebe martyn, and drummer shayfer huitt. their debut single, “Kinda Love”, was released on november 1st, 2018. the follow up single, “Fall Away From You”, was released may 24, 2019. their debut ep, "On the Horizon", was released on may 22nd, 2020. their debut album and final project, "Substation 8", was released on june 25, 2021 to widespread critical and fan acclaim. they enjoyed long walks on the beach and ice cream sandwiches.
