Mike Stamper is a solo project formed by Aitor G., a multi-instrumentalist from Asturias, Spain. Aitor G. has been part of various bands in the Asturian music scene, including Unexpectance, Black Devil, Gajes del Oficio, Preventive Suicide, No Sense Within, Archaeopteryx Ultraavantgarda… among others. The project began as a side venture in 2010 with the release of the demo EP titled "Stampcore“, serving as a manifesto for what the project aimed to convey.

However, it was in 2016 that everything gained momentum with the release of "Ended By Error“. This conceptual album delved into the theme of errors and their consequences, solidifying the project's style. The foundation was instrumental metal with several modern influences, intertwined with ambient touches. Epic melodies, frenetic rhythms alternating with heavy riffs, breakdowns, and profound atmospheres defined the path forward.

In 2017, "Extended By Error" was released as a sequel to the 2016 "Ended By Error“. This album continued to explore the universe of the Error, this time focusing on the quest for redemption, which proved futile in the face of the onset of nostalgia. The album maintained the style of its predecessor, enhancing the concept with a particular emphasis on the melodic aspect.

In January 2024, he released his third instrumental album, "Emerge From Error“. This album has substantially matured the musical concept of its predecessors, pushing it to new extremes, ranging from thunderous and malevolent grooves to nostalgic and hopeful melodic passages. Conceptually, it represents the ultimate confrontation with the Error, embracing it as the path to the long-awaited redemption.
