The group formed when drummer Mike Anzaldo jokingly told Mark Gallagher that if he learned how to play the bass they would start a band together. After summer vacation 2008, Mark came back to school and told Mike that he was ready to play. Sam Lehr was then introduced to the band by James Simkins.
