Born in Delémont, Laurence Crevoisier studied at the Lausanne Superior Conservatory where, in 1997, she obtained her teaching diploma in violin in the class of Jean Jaquerod. She later took up the viola and joined the class of Christine Soerensen where, in 2000, she obtained first prize with honours in virtuosity. In parallel with her participation in various orchestras (co-soloist with the Neuchâtel Symphonic Ensemble, reserve viola with the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra and the Geneva Chamber Orchestra, soloist with the orchestra of the Avenches Opera Festival between 2005 and 2010), she regularly participates in numerous and diverse musical projects. She is a member of the Eustache company. She also composes music and teaches violin and viola in the music school section of the Lausanne Conservatory. Read more on Last.fm.
