At the forefront of the Canadian hardcore scene, Merkurius is one of the most important DJ and producer of this rough music in the country. Since 2001, he's been popularising this musical genre, particularly in his hometown of Quebec City, whether it be through his compositions or his performances in the biggest hardcore events in the country.

Merkurius was invited to perform in cities like Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, and even as far as Phoenix in Arizona. He's also one of the very rare North American DJs who's had the honour to play alongside renowned hardcore artists from all over the world: DJ Neophyte, Art Of Fighters, Evil Activities, Endymion, Scott Brown, Lenny Dee, Omar Santana, DJ Promo, Ophidian, Delta 9, DJ Mad Dog, Manu Le Malin, Radium, Predator, DJ Delirium, Dr Macabre, and many more.
