1. Noisis (Greek: Νόησις) is a Greek hip hop/rnb/pop band.

2. Sébastien Nikolaou was born on June 3, 1985 in Patras (Greece). Being a child of a Greek father and a French mother, he flawlessly speaks both languages, while he early adopted his parents' national culture and aesthetics.

He started playing the piano at the age of 6, at his father's conservatory, for 9 years. Then he studied music theory, and also obtained a certificate in music harmony. In this musical environment he had the chance to appreciate a lot of music styles such as classical and jazz. Meanwhile, he started listening to the radio in 1994, when electronic & dance music firstly attracted him. Among many music styles, goa & psychedelic trance magnetized him.

After many years of listening and collecting music, came the moment in year 2000 he started to produce his own tunes. Then began the Noisis project. Computers and the internet helped him a lot to build a large music collection and experiment with new sounds. At the age of 18 he joined a party promotion team, and started djing occasionally in clubs at his hometown. He had the opportunity to warm up djs and producers such as Tolis Q, Opsis, Stiv Sai, Arne (The Delta / Midi Miliz / Spirallianz) and Stella Nutella.

In 2006 he released his first track in a greek psy-trance compilation named "Psylent Conspiracy vol.2".

Noisis' music is constituted of intelligent sounds, deep melodies, from full-on to progressive structures, pumping rhythms, and the most important, passion and attentive production.
