Sleep Dance originally started with Matt and Nick writing, recording, and playing songs they wrote as a collective. After finishing their first EP, they decided to bring in Will to play shows and expand upon what they had written. The later addition of Brad further expanded the sound. Sleep Dance defies any set genre with stylistic qualities of acoustic rock, jazz, and indie rock. Intricate guitar work surrounded by ambient guitar sound, all driven by complex percussion is the best way to describe the sound. Read more on Last.fm.
