Small Strides are an indiespheric band from Düsseldorf, Germany. Their debut album “The Ground Beneath Our Feet”, released in December 2023, enthused both national and international voices. SCHALL magazine praised it as a “wonderfully self-contained island" partially reminding of "the great David Bowie in his final years", while Tótum Revolútum added: “To end 2023 with a debut of this level and uniqueness is remarkable. Especially in a year where there has been a lot of quality music.”

Following their debut EP "Crossings", Small Strides have been merging indie rock soundscapes, angsty emo pop and prog-influenced live-looping to a distinct sound and have shared stages with artists such as October Drift, Between Bodies, or The Fog Joggers, reflecting the band's stylistic range.
