1) Monkeyface is one of the numerous projects of Hilary Zozula, a Pennsylvania native. She writes and records songs consisting of bass guitar, electronic programming, and her soft, lilting voice. Her lyrics contain only the barest of honesty, and flow with metaphor from beginning to end without compromising their raw sincerity. She encourages crowd participation during shows, and always states that "even if you do not enjoy what you are hearing, you should listen to the music inside of your head, no matter what music it may be".
