Reain (pronounced rain) is a hip hop artist from West London in the UK. He is due to release his debut album, The Metaphorcast, in August 2008. Aside from working on the finishing touches to his forthcoming album, Reain is also currently involved with a jazz band, the Mighty Jeddo. Prior to this he was a big player on the UK emcee battling scene, going under the alias Wha's His Face, as well as being part of crew called Lynx Eyed featuring K-Zen, Precise and Neo.

Reain is a London native, born and bred in west London into a Jamaican household. He has built a solid fanbase amongst the underground fans of UK Hip Hop, and he has earned the respect of his fellow MC's through hard work and determination.

Reain cut his teeth on the unforgiving and fiercely competitive UK battle scene where MC's fight it out verbally through bouts of hardcore freestyling and improvised rhyming. Either on street corners or in packed clubs, Reain competed at the highest level and vanquished all the opposition leaving them stuttering speechless wrecks. His rhymes have also taken him to The USA to battle their finest MC's in New York and Las Vegas. He picked up some victories along the way, proving that UK emcees are capable of thinking beyond what lies in front of them.

He chose to carry out his battle duties under the alias Wha's His Face in order to separate the aggression packed battles from his reflective recorded output. The Metaphorcast expands upon the Wha's His Face character and delves deeper into the mind of this young British MC to see what makes him tick.

Reain has picked up supporters on Radio and has featured on many shows including Kiss 100 FM, Shortie Blitz & Big Ted show, Diesel U Music and Maz'z show on Lif FM.
His music also has airplay on many others stations such as Choice FM (played by 279 and others) and also By TJ Chill from Life FM on his Zulu Nation Rap Show.
