Since 2003, The Funky Monkeys have been dedicated to providing the highest quality musical entertainment to children everywhere.

Vibrant performers Joe, Neil, Chris, and Dizzy Dog, have carefully crafted their engaging material for family audiences, ever drawing on their qualified backgrounds in primary school teaching, composing and live theatre work.

In March 2008, after 5 years of performing and building their popularity with kiwi kids, they quit their “ordinary” day jobs to embark on their “extraordinary” adventure. In 2005, their debut album 'Jungle Party!’ was a huge hit with kiwi kids. 2007 saw the release of The Funky Monkeys “Jungle Party” DVD and 2008 saw the release of their “Get Up Go CD”.
2010 the "Get up Go" DVD was released followed by the "Camping Adventure" CD.

Over 1,000,000 New Zealanders have experienced The Funky Monkeys live shows at events throughout NZ.

Their shows are an exclusive blend of their original award winning music for kids, perfectly fused with the comical pulp of bumbling magic tricks, kazoo choirs, pantomimic mayhem and their renowned giant bubbles!

To top it all off, their shows are brimming with opportunities for audience participation.
As The Funky Monkeys believe that 'letting kids be kids' is the real core of their product, children (and grown-ups!) are encouraged to dance, shout, sing, clap and help throughout the entire show.
