Jolianne first gained attention in 2015 as a contestant of The Voice Kids Philippines (Season 2), when she was only 11 years old. She has since enthralled audiences, opening for major acts like Air Supply, Michael Learns to Rock, and Stephen Bishop.

In 2020, Jolianne released four singles that collectively garnered over 1.5 million streams and gained her 100,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. She eventually caught the ear of Careless, who then signed her in the same year, when she was only 17 years old.
