Shallow Budget is producer/musician Matt Sprugasci aka Spagotti. Born and raised in San Jose, California, he started his musical path at a very young age. His Mother, a piano teacher, gave him his first taste of music and from there he went on to play electric bass, drums, guitar, keyboard and whatever else he could get his hands on. As a young teen, he started a band with a couple of friends, Vanishing Point. After High School he began playing bass in the Alternative/Hip Hop band Cadence Theory. After several years, many live shows, and 2 studio albums, Matt then went on to play in the Progressive Rock band Fasten. With a passion for all forms of art, Matt is also an accomplised visual artist with an emphasis on oil paintings and sketch work. While gigging and recording he studied and received his Bachelor's Degree in Sound Production. Matt writes, records, and produces all of his own music in Reason and Pro tools. He is a true storyteller and his debut album "Dreaming in Digital" brings to life the inner workings of a man in a changing industry.
