Amber Lee and the Anomalies, is Amber Lee Baker, a singer-songwriter who accompanies herself on the accordion, loop pedal, glockenspiel, and odd percussion instruments. Amber Lee has performed at the Cotati Accordion Festival and the West End & Railroad Square Handcar Regatta. She is Miss December in the 2009 Greater Bay Area Accordion Babe Pin-Up Calendar, and is just back from her Spring Northwest Tour. Amber Lee has recently been sharing the stage with Uni and Her Ukulele, and she will be opening for Vagabond Opera in June. She will also be playing shows with 5 cent Coffee and Pat Hull. Last winter she played her accordion in a band for the dance troupe Fou Fou Ha at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco.

Amber Lee Baker started playing the piano and singing when she was 8 yrs old, but eventually found that her instrument is the accordion, which she started playing in 2002. After a year of lessons and many open-mic-nights, she recorded her debut album with the help from her former band (the original Anomalies.) Estuaries was released in 2008, and Amber Lee is currently working on her second album. She has kept the name Amber Lee and the Anomalies because Anomalies can be anything – they are currently in-animate objects in the form of a loop pedal, glockenspiel and percussion.
