Lewis Baloue is the full name of Lewis, a mysterious artist from the early 1980's, who released a handful of albums, only two of which have been discovered.

In 1983, Lewis Baloue released an album named L’Amour under the name Lewis, which was released on the unknown label R.A.W. (An acronym of Lewis' supposed real name, Randall A. Wulff) Featuring a dedication to Sports Illustrated model Christie Brinkley, cover photography by noted punk photographer Ed Colver, engineering by Bob Kinsey and synth playing by Philip Lees, the album never achieved wide attention but gained a cult following among record collectors due to its rare nature. The album received a formal reissue in early 2014 by Light in the Attic Records who also set out to discover more about the artist, finding a trail of pseudonyms, bad checks, white Mercedes, stockbroking and “soft religious music” (Possibly under the name R.J. Duke or Randy Duke) that sadly resulted in a dead end.

Later, in 2014, a second album by Lewis was discovered on eBay, believed to be the only remaining copy. The album, Romantic Times, was released in 1985, this time under the name Lewis Baloue. A few days later, Light in the Attic Records would reveal that they had managed to source and remaster a sealed copy from DJ and collector Kevin “Sipreano” Howes and reissued the album for the first ever time.
