In an era where bands rely on cheap gimmicks to gain popularity, Speak Of The Devil go about it the old fashioned way, with talent. This six-piece Toronto based band has developed a sound of their own and are helping to push the evolution of progressive metal. Speak Of The Devil have taken brutal guitar riffs and infused them with intense frequencies, powerful screams and melodic singing. Just one listen to their music will show you they are influenced by the likes of Between The Buried And Me, Protest The Hero and Born Of Osiris to name a few. Their skillfully crafted compositions, amazing talent and wild live shows are helping them to become a household name in the metal scene.

Speak Of The Devil has already released one album, Set Sail (2008) and recently released a four song EP that is available for free download from their website, Mypsace and Facebook. The band has been busy playing shows and in a short time has shared the stage with Veil Of Maya, Abandon All Ships, The Fall Of Troy, Farewell To Freeway, ABACABB and Threat Signal just to name a few.

These six talented musicians; Alex Hoffman (Vocals), Aaron Marshall (Guitar), David Mooney (Guitar, Vocals), Derek Gibbons (Keys, Synth), Andrew Murphy (Bass) and Jack Clow (Drums) have developed their roots in music at a young age through performing arts schools and strong dedication to musical training.
