Vocally, Choke Up is very similar to Comadre. Instrumentally, they have a "Post-Hardcore" feel. Then it feels like all the music was structured by The Lawrence Arms.

Choke Up play dark and emotional melodic hardcore with several different elements at play. Choke Up’s thick brand of impassioned hardcore, and their powerful vocals that will stay with you long after, is a breath of fresh air.
