Saarkie is a rock and roll girl band based in Pretoria, South Africa. The band was founded by Adèle Fouché (Lead Singer, Lead Guitar, and Harmonica) and Lila Botha (Drummer and Backing Vocals) in 2005.

Saarkie has received numerous nominations at both the South African Music Awards and the Ghoema Music Awards. In 2018 they won the Ghoema for Best Rock Album - for their 4th Album "Queen van die Toorbos". They won Best live rock band, Best alternative album, Best alternative single and Best rock single at the South-African Independent Artist Music Awards 2022. Read more on Last.fm.
