Freedom Of Speech is a trip hop band, formed towards the end of 2000 in Athens, Greece.

Within a musical journey that began with hip hop, the sound of Freedom broadened in the way and flew over different genders of music, such as trip hop, electro, industrial and rock. The group has performed live in Athens , Thessaloniki, Kavala, Larisa, Korinthos, Syros and Volos, while having already released an album, entitled «Punished» (2004) , that was free for download in the band’s site www.freedomofspeech.gr.

In November 2006 the group was chosen out of 1300 participants and later performed in the final stage of the Song Festival of Thessaloniki, where it received the Best Lyrics Award for the song «How melancholic did this place turn to be», which was broadly appreciated. In May 2007 Freedom signs for the music of the theatrical play «Archangels don’t play Pinball» (Dario Fo), which was played in the Theater of the Sun by the theatrical group of the National Technical University (NTUA), with great success.

On February 1st, 2010, Freedom Of Speech's new album, "S' Alli Hora" is released on Panvox/Lyra. The myspace page of the band is located at www.myspace.com/freedomofspeechgr.
