Born of a blending and mixing of old traditional music, subtly mixed with jazz, the music of Mohamed Rouane carries in a warm, romantic and sensual universe, giving the impression of listening to a concert on the terrace of Casbah. His style, full of warm colors, resonates with its mandola which is called Casbah jazz.

Born on 21 October 1968 at Belouzdad, Algeria, and from the region of Djelfa, Mohamed Rouane gradually abandoned football to focus on music. Self-taught and passionate artist in the soul, his first instrument, the harmonica, guide him to discover the beauty of sounds and melodies that fill her life today. Hadj Mohamed El Anka, singer and composer mandola, and the chaabi cradle its music learning and amplifies his vocation. In 1992, he launched the group Triana Algiers, an experience that fades quickly to form the group Méditranéo, in flamenco gypsy-style. Thus, guitarist, he meets a great success in Tunisia and produced two albums.

After these successes, Mohamed Rouane embarks on a solo career to create new musical experiences. His first album “Rêve " was noticed in 2005 at the Frederic Chopin Academy who occasionally receives two special concerts in Warsaw, Poland. A year later, he released a second album in tribute to two great names in music: the militant of the Berber cause Matoub Lounes, and the master of chaabi Hadj Mohamed El Anka. In 2007, he participated in the massive concert organized for the manifestation "Algiers, Capital of Arab Culture." A great moment of happiness as he accompanies the best players of lute and mandolin in the Arab world.
There he made a melodic fresco which includes tunes of twenty symbols of Algeria’s deep abyss.
