Influenced by angsty 90s alternative rock, DESTRUCTION baby formed in Waukegan, Illinois in 2014 when Mario and Adam reunited after their previous music ventures ended. Recruiting Nellie on drums and Toledo on guitar cemented the lineup, and DESTRUCTION baby was starting to play shows locally while writing their seminal Human Fly EP. After drip-feeding content to fans for years, 2021 marked the release of their emo comeback EP The Things I Do For Love.

That same year, after securing their own recording studio, the band transitioned to releasing self-produced music with singles Howl and Wrapped in Plastic. Both Long Slide and Deep Slide--released at the beginning and end of Summer 2022--showcased the band's pop punk sensibilities, with hints of hard rock and metal. Incorporating a softer indie rock sound into their noisier punk roots, DESTRUCTION baby continues writing, recording, and playing shows around Lake County, Illinois. Read more on Last.fm.
