After Silence has to be one of the few respectable hardcore bands that California had to offer. You guys had this amazing sound and pulled off some pretty sick songs that anyone remotely familiar with the word hardcore had to take notice. None of this metalcore shit or constant breakdowns that would just take space and get kids to dance. You guys carried the prowess of Poison the Well, Converge, Botch and even at times there was some what of a hint of Fugazi in your music. You all are very talented individuals and I'm pretty sure most of us want to see what else you can offer to not only hardcore, but the music world. Take care guys. You have influenced a lot of people and have written songs that will be talked about years from now.

what happend? you guys were great! like seriously great! not good alright or bad ass! your guys were fucking great! this really dissapoints me that all local bands around here are dying out. like the local bands that can bring it like the big fucking asshole bands that charge 20 30 bucks a ticket! you guys were down. most bands now adays just feel that they can play and bam tehy're fucking awsome! none have heart that you show everytime you play your god damned set! the heart that made me not mind paying fucking 5 10 20 dallors for enterance fee's and another 5 or 10 for the fucking cd! that's the greatness that you guys are! FUCK man i'm sad to hear you guys quit but thanks for giving me the joy and excitment and love that you gave me the last show i saw you guys at! wich was in temple city at a coffee shop lol i came always down from az and saw you guys! well i'll try to make it since i'm still down in cali! peace out!


2) Debut CD "A Night at Madgie's" released April 2006.

Due to Adam Carter's departure from the band in January of 2007, After Silence has been put on an indefinite hiatus. However, they are currently working to record 3-5 more songs which were written but did not make the record. These tracks will probably be released over the internet in September/October of 2007.
