RTD is an indie rock band from Portland, Oregon. The music is very diverse ranging from soulful ballads, two moody rock beats, to piano and vocal duets. The band has a core membership consisting of Joshua Cook on Drums, Lucas Klyzek on Electric Guitar, and Josh McGary on Vocals. However, over the last ten years, the band has diversified its sound by having multiple guest musicians as well as adding band members. The band has a small but solid, Portland based following and has played different venues all over the Portland area, but can be mostly be seen at Aletheia Bible Fellowship in Portland, Oregon, a church that allows them the space to practice. In 2006, the band self produced on a shoestring budget a modest innaugural album called Elemental. This album was primarily produced through the method of over dubbing and is very raw in its presentation. The band's core membership is made up of business professional thirty-somethings who have full time family's and as such, the music has taken a back seat in recent years. However, a sophomore album has been in the works since 2008 called Have Hope. In their spare time, the band can be seen playing benefit concerts for their local church or grabbing an occasional happy hour at the Baghdad pub in Portland. Read more on Last.fm.
