Strange Machine is a fourpiece group from Berlin founded by Martin Orfali (Vocals, Rhythmn Guitar, Keyboards), Yusuf Sahilli (Lead Guitars, Bgr. Vocals), Marc Gundermann (Drums, Bgr. Vocals) and Robert Ladenthin (Basses) in September 2005.

Influenced by the british pop/indie/rock invasion in the late 60's and 70's, they try to carry that sound into the present. There are two sides of the band: a) the indie-esque rock tunes, which reminds people often on The Who, The Beatles and Kings Of Leon. Short, catchy, but also busy playing. The second side, is teh mellow side, very quiet, soft and melancholic. In April 2006 they released their debut album "The ReEvoltion Of The Members Of Times Of Trouble", which sold over 1000 copies.
