Matthew Tuck, born January 20 1980 in Bridgend, South Wales. He is the vocalist in the core band Bullet For My Valentine. He can also play s, e-gitarre, keyboards, the recorder and harmonica. Before he was in Bullet for My Valentine he worked at a Virgin Megastore in Wales. He has been portrayed in the British rock press as somewhat promiscuous; which he does not deny. Tuck has also been known to drink excessively. His MySpace indicates he is a Scientologist.
Matthew Tuck currently plays a triangular shaped Jackson Randy Rhoads RR1T triangle as well as a standard black model. For live performances he has used Mesa/Boogie, Peavey and Fender heads through Mesa/Boogie Rectifier cabinets. He also uses a Morley Bad Horsie Wah pedal and an Ibanez Tube Screamer.
Tuck also owns a Gibson Flying V, which he can be seen using during the live performance of Hand of Blood on a 2005 episode of Die Sarah Kuttner Show. However, he tends to use his Jackson models for the majority of live shows.

Matthew Tuck has cited Metallica as being his main musical influence. At the age of 14, Tuck discovered the band through MTV where the video for the single "Enter Sandman" was aired, which inspired him to begin learning guitar.
He has also mentioned Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Pantera and Megadeth as being heavy influences in his songwriting.
During the November 2006 tour with As I Lay Dying, Matt Tuck suffered from laryngitis which lead to a number of shows being postponed until early January; where they then re-started the rest of their tour again, beggining on the January 3 2007, at the Carling Academy Newcastle, and also played for the first time, two of their new songs "Scream, Aim, & Fire" and "Disappear".
At Manchester Apollo the following night, they only played one new song, "Scream, Aim, & Fire". During this show and the ones to follow, support band As I Lay Dying's vocalist joined Bullet For My Valentine onstage to sing Room 409. Bootlegs of the Manchester show can be found online, and this is known as one of the first known recordings of the song "Scream, Aim, & Fire".
On this tour the band played a cover of Metallica's Creeping Death. Metallica is known for being a huge influence on Matt and the band.
His Band, Bullet for my Valentine, is coming out with a new cd called "Fever". It will be available April 26 or 27, 2010. Matt has a baby boy name evann. His soulmate is Charlotte.
