The trio Bon Débarras plays "neotraditional" Quebecois music with guitars, banjo, accordion, percussion, harmonica, vocals, podorhythms (foot tapping), and washboard. Composed of multi-instrumentalists Dominic Desrochers, Luzio Altobelli and Jean-François Dumas, Bon Débarras released its first album in 2009. These musicians draw upon various musical sources revisited: Cajun, Gypsy, folk and traditional Quebecois songs. Their influences go well beyond borders and time and versatility of this kind is seen well served by the variety of instruments, arrangements and the foot tapping. Bosco Stomp Reel fjord, resourcefulness and Reel Tao are among the highlights of this exceptional album.
