There are three artists of the name Morus.
1.MORUS (Warsaw, Poland) play fully charged HC/PUNK that comes along very dynamic but is also ridden with razor sharp edges. Lyrically focused on a deeper socio-political statement against the ongoing repression with a strong feminist message. Forged in the fires of the Warsaw punk underground by members of POST REGIMENT and fellow Warsaw punkers ANTIDOTUM, EDELWEISS PIRATEN, ATOMICO PATIBULO and [peru].

2.Guilherme Bittar (DJ Morus), one of the biggest spots of the darkpsy brazilian scene, born in Anápolis-GO, where he still lives, had his first contact with electronic music at the age of 12 while listening to bands as Kraftwerk, Kon Kan, New Order, Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys and Information Society, who built his first understandings about electronic music. As he continued researching about the genre, he got to discover some other producers and bands such as Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Air, Orbital, Underworld, Daft Punk, Armand Van Helden as well as many dance, house, techno, drum&bass and breakbeat artists who’ve also had a big influence upon his musical taste. By the year of 1997 he jumped into psytrance and in early 2002 his DJ career gets started, when he performs for the first time, showing from then on a lot of technique and feeling in his sets, always trying to establish, through the music, a straight connection to the dancefloor. He has already played alongside some of the biggest psytrance artists in Brazil and in the world, such as in big brazilian festivals like Festival Fora do Tempo, Earthdance and Universo Paralello and great parties all over the country. He's co-founder and DJ of the Mexican psytrance label “Kamino Records” along with the producers Kashyyyk and Arcek, among other labels whose crew he's part of such as the russian underground psytrance label “Vertigo Records”, performing as their representative in Brasil since 2005; the brazilian first dark psy-trance oriented label/crew “Dead Tree Productions”, which released one of his tracks in their “Contagion” compilation, and also others as “Biomechanix Records (Mexico), Helicon Sound System (Greece) and Inner-sound Records (Italy) for which he compiled a night psychedelic music oriented cd. Also in 2007, besides psytrance, he also started to explore other styles by making also sets directed to minimal techno and tech-house and even producing his own tracks under that style, having released a track in an EP by the brazilian label San Records.
