Michael Nace was the guitarist and singer in 90s math rock band Drill For Absentee. After a brief stint playing guitar with West Chester band Wise and Foolish Builders, he began a solo project in 2001 with the release of his debut album The Voyage Out. He followed up with Measured In Leagues Of Joy in 2002, followed by Your Meekness Gives Me Hope in 2004. US tours included opening for Sebadoh through parts of the American south. In 2005, he released The Good Work of the Dead, as part of his American folk music side project, The Nace Family. Since 2006, he had stopped recording and touring professionally, but confines to write and demo songs at home. He is happily married with three children. Read more on Last.fm.
