404NOTFOUND was formed in Nagoya, one of the biggest cities in Japan, in August 2006. Since then, they’ve been aggressively active, sharing the stage with bands from several genres. After the departure of their original vocalist in April 2007, TOM joined in September 2007, bringing new energy to the band and helping them develop their current style. The band name comes from the Internet phrase. The 5 members on stage stimulate and overwhelm the audience’s audio-visual senses, and incite them to join the mosh pit. The band brings a new emotional experience through their performance.

A new vocalist joined their band in early 2010, Akito from the visual kei metal band 'meth'.
