1) Sourpuss were around from 1993 to 1996 in Australia and released a 7 inch called "Solvent" in 1995 and a CD titled "Tabouli" in 1996. They split in 1996 when the singer/guitarist Bree Leslie Pucilowski (now known as Brody Dalle) left them to go to America to form "The Distillers" (she married Tim from Rancid). The bands line up was Bree/Brody guitar & vocals, Cobina Crawford bass, Pree Lesley guitar, Suzie Brown drums. One of their drummers also was murdered in the mid 1990s when she was in N.S.W. hitch hiking. There were rumours that it may have been Ivan Milat that was involved in her murder but no one really knows...

2) Sourpuss was also a band based out of Murfreesboro,TN in the vein of Jesus Lizard and other alternative acts. Today a few remaining members go by the name of Bad Sailor.

3) Sourpuss was also an unsigned UK grunge band popular in South Yorkshire from 2001-2004. Their songs include 'Let Me In', 'Jingly Banger', 'Sulk' and 'Red Eye'.

4) SourpuSS was also an experimental group based on Long Island, New York. Active from 2008-2009, their local hits included "da you think i'm kevin?" "bag of porn" and "toby is bad." The band is currently on hiatus pending lead guitarist doug bleek's search for a new muse.

5) Sourpuss was an indie rock band based in Northampton, MA, that existed for a few years in the early 1990s, releasing the Rocket Day EP. Band members Ken Maiuri and Brian Marchese have since gone on to several notable projects, from Mark Mulcahy, Pedro the Lion, and School for the Dead to Haunt, Spouse, Sitting Next to Brian, and many more.
