Left Right Left Lyrics

Ohh, I been hurtin' lately
I'm down on all my luck
Sometimes there's no one there by your side
I don't deserve this baby
But I know that I can't give up
Tough times I just take them in stride

Hmmm, I'm almost there, only one more step
(Left, right, left, right, left)
I'm moving on, I got no regrets

(Left, right, left, right, left)

I said times are changing, tell me how can I keep up
Every time that I turn around there's a wall
But I'm climbing daily, until I see the top
And I get up right after every fall
When you're brokenhearted
And you're lost without me
Yeah you gotta walk alone, yeah it's true

Flash every smile cause I've been lost for miles
I know you've felt this way before too
We're almost there baby one more step
Woah, left, right, left, right, left
We're moving on, we got no regrets
Woah, left, right, left, right, left
Woah, left, right, left, right, left
Woah, left, right, left, right, left

Woah, we're almost there only one more step
Woah, left, right, left, right, left

Mmm I know it looks like it's too far

But it's nothing compared to how far we've come
Walking down this boulevard
When the darkest times come right before the sun
We're almost there baby one more step
Woah, left, right, left, right, left
We're moving forward and there's no regrets
Woah, left, right, left, right, left
Woah, left, right, left, right, left
Woah, left, right, left, right, left
We're almost there only one more step
Woah, left, right, left, right, left
Woah, left, right, left, right, left
Woah, left, right, left, right, left
Woah, left, right, left, right, left
We're almost there only one more step
Woah, left, right, left, right, left

Charlie Puth (born Charles Otto Puth, Jr., December 2, 1991 in Rumson, New Jersey, United States) is a American pop singer from New Jersey who gained his fame through YouTube. He is best known for his 2015 debut single "Marvin Gaye", which features vocals from Meghan Trainor. He is also known for singing on Wiz Khalifa's "See You Again" taken from the "Furious 7" soundtrack. The single became a huge international success, reaching number one in Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, New Zealand, Switzerland and the United States as well as the top ten in Ireland and France.

Charlie joined YouTube in September of 2009 and began to post his own acoustic covers. He is also an alumnus of the Berklee College of Music, which he graduated in 2013. In October 2011, Ellen DeGeneres announced that she had signed Charlie Puth and Emily Luther to her label after seeing their cover of Adele's "Someone Like You". Puth and Luther performed the song on the show. On January 25, 2012, they came back to The Ellen DeGeneres Show and performed Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now" and an original written by Puth titled "Break Again" (co-written with Robert Gillies). Charlie has since left eleveneleven and signed with Atlantic Records.

In February 2015 he released his debut single "Marvin Gaye"; the song features vocals from Meghan Trainor. He features on Wiz Khalifa's song "See You Again", which features on the Furious 7 soundtrack which went to number one on the Hot 100 making his first entry and first top 10 on the Hot 100. He co-wrote the song "Slow Motion" for Trey Songz and has arranged sessions with Jason Derulo and Lil Wayne. In an interview with Billboard, Puth explains the vibe he wanted for his upcoming EP. "I listened to a lot of Marvin Gaye and Motown records. When I was making my record, I just wanted to make this soulful sound. When Marvin Gaye made his music, he evoked this feeling that would reach everybody. Now, my record is also actually a musical assistance record".

In April 2015 he released "I Won't Tell a Soul", the second single from his upcoming EP, "Some Type of Love" released on May 1, 2015. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
