Sixx Digit is, for lack of a more defining term, a "Hip-Hop" artist. Blending the Midwest flow of "Bone Thugs N Harmony" with the vibe of "Guns N Roses", the self proclaimed "best white rapper alive" is originality at it's finest. Sixx Digit was born Robert Boulle, on September 5th, 1985 in Toledo, Ohio. He started writing and recording music at an early age, releasing several low budget projects by the time he had reached junior high. At the age of 15 he started a group with friends from his high school called "Steady Thuggin Glass." The group quickly gained the attention of the areas biggest local act at the time, and was signed to an independent label. Over the next two years they would play every venue in the city, and surrounding areas, and release two maxi-singles. They enjoyed a great deal of local success, opening for acts like Juvenile and Lil' Flip, but disbanded soon thereafter. Sixx would immediately start work on his first solo album entitled "The O.F. of America." O.F. standing for Oak and Fassett, the neighborhood where Sixx had started Steady Thuggin Glass a few years prior. The album was produced, engineered, mixed, and everything else by a friend for next to nothing. Then, in March of 2006, with no label, and no financial backing, Sixx released the album independently, along with a line of merchandise including T-Shirts, and Posters. With no support from local stores, or radio, the disc would sell 100 plus copies hand to hand in it's first week, and would total 500 in the following weeks. This would establish Sixx Digit as one of Toledo's top drawing names. He has since released two mixtapes, a second full length album entitled "The Illusionist", and in June of 2009, his third album, a double disc entitled "Cold November Rain." In January of 2008, Sixx began his first tour of the United States opening for national recording artist "Cap One" and performing 20 plus dates, adding more names to the list of shows he had opened. Sixx has been seen opening for Lil' Scrappy, Youngbloodz, Dem Franchize Boyz, Tech Nine, Too Short, and many others. With his fan base continually growing, Sixx Digit is more focused than ever. He is now promoting his 29 track double album entitled "Cold November Rain" and has already began work on his next project. Make no mistake, he is a legend in the making, and you can expect to hear, and see alot more from Sixx Digit! Read more on Last.fm.
