1. TL is soul singer Thomas Lipkins of '60s Motown doo-wop group The Creations. He recorded some rare modern soul as TL or T.L. in the '80s and '90s, he died in 2002.


2. T.L. was radically saved from a life of drugs, alcohol, and destructive living during his freshmen year in college. After trusting in Jesus as his Lord and Savior he began using his gift of rap and evangelism to reach the world for Christ. upon graduation his classmates voted him “most changed” and through T.L.’s ministry he has continued to see people give their lives to the Lord. T.L.'s lyrical versatility and creativity have allowed him to perform alongside some of the best in the genre.
T.L. has shared the stage with artists like: The Cross Movement, Everyday Process, Humble T.I.P., Sean Slaughter, K-Drama, D.M.A.U.B.,D.P.B. and more.
T.L. was recently the winner of the “Bars of Freedom” contest on www.dasouth.com (christian rap’s premier holy hip hop website) and has also been invited to perform at the Holy Hip Hop Awards in ATlanta, GA., and just recently performed at SonshineFest (30,000-40,000 in attendance). Moving forward T.L. is about to release a mixtape entitled "They Say I Sound Shady" on 4-3-11 mixed by DJ Pdogg and hosted by JBeatz which will be available at www.IamTL.com for FREE Download.
