A singer/songwriter/producer who not only has the ability to calculate the exact formula for a hit single, but in their free-time creates wordless music that grabs an audience old or young? Almost unheard of in today's industry.

"I just really like the kind of music that takes you on a journey. It sounds corny as hell, I know, but I like to be able to close my eyes and play out a movie in my mind and feel it. Sometimes I'll be so into a song, I'll be out of breath by the end of it! That's real music to me."

And real music she does create. However, Shawna Roxanne understands that her tastes are not exactly universal. Realistically speaking, sometimes people just want to dance to an uptempo beat and sing the catchy lyrics. She caters to the mass first and foremost, treasuring each and every person who takes the time to support her. But if you take the time to get away from the glitz and gold, you'll catch the seasoned musician sitting at her piano with her guitar across her lap, dressed casually in jeans and a t-shirt; strumming chords on the strings, or doing random arpeggios across the keys...trying to find that particular melody that sings out to her soul.

She has every right to be cocky about it, but she refuses and remains more humble than most. Check her credentials: She attended performing arts schools for seven years, switching from being a piano major to being a theater major in that duration. She's been professionally trained in dance and vocal, and started piano lessons at the age of four. She's written a novel, and has a plethora of short stories and other fictions she's yet to have completed. She's won local showcases in her hometown, and even became a hugely successful Youtube personality for her renditions of popular Korean songs.

She's well-aware of this, but just a mention of her extensive credibility will garner you a blush in the cheeks of the Native American musician as she replies, "All my credit goes to God. I feel very very lucky, and very very blessed."

She thrives on interacting with her supporters. A trait that is rarely genuine in many artists. But that's exactly what she is: genuine. She believes in "what you see is what you get.", and hides nothing from the public.

She gathers her things, smiling with a fire of determination in her eyes as she jokingly says, "I thank God that my moment has finally come. It's about time, all the Hollywood guys I had been eyeing were starting to get old!"

When asked who in particular she was hoping to get a chance with, she laughs, "If I told you, then quite a few of my songs would instantly lose their meaning! We don't want that happening."
