Justin Chart
Gifted and versatile singer/songwriter Justin Chart has been writing and performing
music in a wide spectrum of musical styles and venues for more than 25 years. Justin
has composed music for films and television programs in genres as diverse as
action/adventure, romantic comedy, suspense, family, and drama, including: Full Metal
Jacket, Action Jackson, Robin Hood, Nowhere to Run, The House, Speed Zone, Repo
Man, Born to Race, Dead Heat, 18 Again, and I’ll Take Manhattan. Filmmakers value
his versatility as a musical storyteller who masterfully enhances the mood and emotion
of films by adding diverse musical elements, including darkness, gallantry, suspense,
comedy, romance, and bold, intense action.
An equally talented singer and musician, Justin has toured with America, The Grass
Roots, and Paul Revere and the Raiders, and is a popular jazz performer. Justin and
his band have performed his original rock/pop music at venues across the US and
Europe, including appearances at Madison Square Garden and the Budokan in Tokyo.
More recently, Justin has used the skills he mastered in crafting music which enhances
the message and mood of films to create uplifting and engaging anthems for major
league sports teams. Justin’s mastery of diverse musical genres allows him to create
crowd-capturing anthems which reflect the unique personality of each team – from
urban hip-hop to jazzy blues to iconic rock anthems – energizing fans as they cheer
