Life of the Party Lyrics

Oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh...
Oh, oh, oh
The life of the party

Oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh...
Oh, oh, oh
The life of the party

When the sun goes down
Gonna dance all night
Gonna start it up
Wash toxic night
When the world goes back
Gonna light it up
Gonna take your heart
Gonna break it up

Who wants to be
Wants to be
The life of the party
Burn the dance
Living fast
Burn it now
We're feeling free
It's good to be the life of the party
Hit the ground, but you're not coming down

Oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh...
Oh, oh, oh
The life of the party

Gonna still be there
When it come undone
If they see me now
Would you be someone
Would you fall for them
Would you hold your up
When music's gone are you good enough

Who wants to be
Wants to be
The life of the party
Burn the dance
Living fast
Burn it now
We're feeling free
It's good to be the life of the party
Hit the ground, but you're not coming down

Pretty black eyes, with that pretty little nose
(Come on you now)
(Come on you now)
See it in your eyes you believe in his lines
(Come on you now)
(Come on you now)
Pretty black eyes, with that pretty little nose
(Come on you now)
(Come on you now)
You were meant to be...

Oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh...
Oh, oh, oh
The life of the party

Who wants to be
Wants to be
The life of the party
Burn the dance
Living fast
Burn it now
We're feeling free
It's good to be the life of the party
Hit the ground, but you're not coming down
You hit the ground but you're not coming down
You hit the ground but you're not coming down
You hit the ground but you're not coming down
You hit the ground, hit the ground, hit the ground

Blondfire is an indie pop band from New York City composed of the brother-and-sister duo Bruce and Erica Driscoll. The band was formed in October 2002 as "Astaire" but renamed themselves to Blondfire in July of 2005 after legal threats from the estate of Fred Astaire.

Facing a plethora of legal fees, the siblings relented and changed the band name to Blondfire. They announced this decision to coincide with the release of a new acoustic live EP that would be solely available on the iTunes Music Store. It featured one song, "L-L-Love", that had been on Don't Whisper Lies, and three new songs, "Paper Doll", "Running Back", and "Fade to Pale". The new EP was more successful than the first, eventually becoming the #1 pop album on iTunes and #9 on the album charts.
