More than one Hollowpoint band exist:

1) Hollowpoint is a modern rock band currently hailing from La Crosse, WI. Since their inception in 2002, they have played extensively in Wisconsin, Minnesota, & Iowa. Hollowpoint has shared shows with national & regional bands, and have expanded their fan base internationally. Having been compared to Tool, Alice In Chains, & Deftones, Hollowpoint derives their "sonic alchemy" through ceaseless touring and song-writing. Hollowpoint released their first full-length independent CD titled, "What Will Become…” in 2004, and continues to expand their touring territory while they prepare their second release, expected to be completed in 2006. 2) Formed in the summer of 2005, Sean Cook [drums] and Matt Rodriguez [guitars] started the band as a progressive metal/alternative hard rock group. In the fall of 2005, Nikola Aljinovic [Vocals] was then introtuced to the band. Richard Stover was soon added as the band's bassist. With many influences, including Tool, A Perfect Circle, The Mars Volta, Dream Theater, Deftones, and others, they're sound is a unique one, suprising many with their young talent.
