Moonbear is a side project band made up of Andrew Futral from The Age of Rockets and Rachel Browne. Both are graduates of the Purchase Music Conservatory (Kiss Kiss, Regina Spektor, Jenny Owen Youngs, Gregory and The Hawk ...). Andrew is producing the first Rachel Browne full length and as a side project Moonbear started up as a means to keep their musical minds as sharp as they can be. The first full length is expected to be released in September of 09 titled "... Or The Modern Prometheus" (a reference to the Mary Shelly novel "Frankenstein: or The Modern Prometheus").
