Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Tha Boogie Bandit currently resides in Tokyo, Japan and has spun the main floors at world-famous venues ageHa, WOMB, Sound Museum Vision, and more. He is one half of CtrlFreaks, a DJ duo with over 100,000 subscribers to their bi-monthly iTunes podcast. In addition to spinning a mixture of electro, progressive, house and dubstep alongside artists such as Laidback Luke, Wolfgang Gartner, Lazy Rich, Lucky Date, Bobby Burns, Starkillers, PeaceTreaty, Kid Massive, James Egbert, Fantastic Plastic Machine, Yoji, and Mitomi Tokoto, he has hosted several events and has produced and remixed his own tracks, including the funk track, “FSS Freshness!” which became a hit within the breakdance world.

As part of Tokyo's international DJ crew Turned On and several other groups, Tha Boogie Bandit has set himself apart by playing his unique brand of club bangers and original bootlegs/mashups main stage at top Tokyo clubs ageHa and WOMB. His time spent living in Tokyo, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and Seoul help bring an international flavor to his DJing.
