It’s been over three years since Matt Hebert released The Deep North with his Massachusetts band Haunt. In that time he’s moved across the continent twice (first to Vancouver and then to Texas), worked several odd jobs, and collaborated with dozens of musicians.

Now settled in Austin, Hebert has two full-length records ready for release. The first is Tomorrow in the Sun (street date: Oct. 16, 2012). In the time it took the four of us to finish this record, I recorded an entire second one (titled Loss) with a whole other group of musicians over at Public Hi Fi! Ultimately these are my songs, and having people know that is important to me more than ever.”

Tomorrow in the Sun was engineered and produced by Barrett Walton at his east side Infinity Studios, and mixed by longtime Hebert collaborator Danny Bernini (Martin Sexton, Erin McKeown, NRBQ Read more on Last.fm.
