Singer-song writer, Wes Pagano joined with bassist Sean Matthes, drummer Mike Brown, pianist and Native June bassist Tristan Hendy to form Bullet Made Statues in Jan 2012. Jon Monter was recently added on lead guitar. The name is a reference to the martyrdom of iconic leaders of social movements.

Together they form a Psychedelic-Sex-Rock sound with a deep groove, rolling like thunder underneath a symphony of spacious melodies. They are a blend of the Whitest Boy Alive, Greatful Dead, Incubus, and Jamiruquai.

They have blown the door wide open in northern Los Angeles with almost every show they've played having well over 100 attendees; an admirable feat for a band that hasn't yet released any recorded material. Their show has been described as like dancing on a rumbling volcano that's about to erupt!

Recently signed to British Bulldog Records, Bullet Made Statues is set to release their first album "Weather" in October 2012. In keeping with the DIY ethos of rock and roll, the album was recorded by the band themselves in their studio. The ten song album is produced by US producer Tristan Hendy (Native June, Kick/Snare, Recreational Use) and UK producer Andrew Helps (Stone Beard), mastered at BA1 Records in England. The single "OK Man" is set to be released on Daddy Longlegs Records in the UK for BBC radioplay later this year.

This album is a stepping stone to their second album to be recorded with 15-Grammy winning Producer Ron Saint Germain, who has played a pivotal role in the band's creation and development.
