DJ Quest is a name synonymous with all things breakbeat. Since first getting into the music in early 2000, Quest has been instrumental in shaping the heavier, more club-oriented style of breaks. Starting with his first label “Pulse Recordings”, he alongside likeminded artists at the time such as Stanton Warriors, Blowfelt, Zinc and Deekline helped shape the sound to what it is known as today.

In the male dominated electronic music industry very few ladies hold both the studio and performance skills required to break gender stereotypes and gain the respect of their peers. Odissi however, is one of the rare exceptions. Since her vinyl debut on Cyberfunk Recordings at the age of 18 her technical and quirky production style has earned her a string of releases on some of the UK’s most prestigious breakbeat labels.

While her almost unhealthy obsession for the technical aspect of making music and all things to do with the studio has kept production at the top of her priority list, she also held an international DJ career that took her places such as Spain, England, and throughout her native country of America before hanging up the headphones in 2004 when she relocated to London. While you will no longer have the opportunity to to see her grace the turntables, living now in the epicenter of the breakbeat world she has moved on to live performance. Her live act, Which has proved successful on an international scale with bookings in the UK, Russia, America, Canada, Germany, Belgium, Hungary, Croatia and France, features all her own tracks, collaborations, and live vocals delivered in a eclectic and energetic digital mix.
