Ugly Colors was a post-hardcore/alternative rock band from Portland, Oregon, United States.

They strived to create honest, thoughtful music. Their debut album was released in 2010 and was called Perfect As We Are on Crazy Lucky Records/Mediaskare Records.

"Portland, Oregon technical rock group Ugly Colors got their start some years ago under the moniker Eli Keller. Since then, the band has singlehandedly climbed the ladder to become one of my favorite (if not my favorite) bands. Technical, challenging, but accessible and catchy as hell, Ugly Colors are here to stay. Combining the styles of Minus The Bear with their guitarist’s truly impeccable tapping talents, Armor For Sleep with bending, swirling guitar riffs – and vocally as catchy as any band out there, this unique style makes for some 50 play counts of their new album “Perfect As We Are” on my iPod. “Perfect As We Are” is (finally) available on April 20th, 2010, via Mediaskare Records."
