Nica Group is a sort of groovy jazz fusion band with musicians with different backgrounds. It started in August 2000. The people that now make the group felt like there was a lot of ordinary cover music (clubs, parties, weddings) being played so they felt that they should make a "real quality jazz music for those occasions, and more". This ensemble features Dick Lövgren from extreme/technical metal band Meshuggah on bass on their album Lounge. All music on that album was composed by Lövgren. Read more on Last.fm.
