1. Sound City is Dave Grohl's new project.
Sound City: Real to Reel is a brand new collection of all-new all-original songs, each one composed and recorded exclusively for the film within its own 24-hour session on that console after it was reinstalled in Grohl and his Foo Fighters' own 606 Studios. The new tracks - featuring an amazing and idiosyncratic cast of collaborators including Paul McCartney, Grohl's former Nirvana and current Foo Fighters bandmates, Stevie Nicks, Rick Springfield, Trent Reznor, Josh Homme and Scott Reeder (Queens of the Stone Age), Rick Nielsen (Cheap Trick), Lee Ving (Fear), Corey Taylor (Slipknot), Brad Wilk and Tim Commerford (Rage Against the Machine), Robert Levon Been and Peter Hayes (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club), Chris Goss (Masters of Reality), Rick Springfield (Zoot), Alain Johannes (Eleven), Jim Keltner (Bob Dylan) - passionately exemplify Sound City's celebration of the human element of musicianship and recording in an increasingly digital world.


2. Sound City is a funk/jazz/rock band from Stavanger in Rogaland at the west coast of Norway.
The band is starting to get quite an reputation in their hometown, and they have a lot of potential for being a so well-known band in Stavanger in an age of only 16/17.
