Yung Vito (born Bienvenido Echandia III) was raised in Newark New Jersey. Staring poverty in the face, Vito chose to do something different rather than sell drugs and gang bang in the streets and that was music. With music in his heart and a positive outlook on his situation, Vito purchased a used IBM laptop and a Samson co1u condenser mic and went to work. Word got through the neighborhood about Vito's in house studio which brought fourth P-11 (named after the street they lived on), a group of teens who were unlike the rest and who wanted to make a difference in there lives. With Vito anchoring the charge he released his first mixtape "4rm a grain 2 a gram" (which symbolizes from nothing to something), with the help of P-11, Vito started to stir the pot and make a little name for his self in the community. Shorty after the release of his of his first mixtape Vito released another entitled "Lyrically Inclined" where Vito got to display his mature lyrics and show his improvement and his determination to perfect his craft.

Vito took a short time away from the mic due to the birth of his sons, in which he moved from New Jersey to Virginia. Being that Vito lived in Virginia during his early high school years the change wasn't a drastic one as he settled to start making music again. In this time Vito got connected with a group of guys he used to go to school with who were also making music. They formed the group "Y-Knot Blok". Y-Knot Blok was a belief they all had in which they always asked "why not us" referring to them making it big in the music industry. Shorty after the formation of the group they were spotted by "P.T.P." (Photo Time Production) which took the group under there wing. With hits like "U Ain't Fly like me" "Esa Loca" "It don't matter where you at" and "Fly Girl" Y-Knot made a name for themselves in which they got to preform in front of High schools like Crossland, Friendly, and Edison. Even with there new found fame and success the group had creative differences and split. Shorty after the split Vito released his third mixtape entitled "The H.O.O.D." (Honor Only One Deserves) in which was an improvement from his previous mixtapes but got zero praise due to the lack of promotion and backing.

Vito is back in the swing of things with his upcoming 4th mixtape "Love Replay". The self entitled single "Love Repaly" has gotten great reviews and looks promising. With Vito's focus back intact and a comfortable music lane Yung Vito is sure to be a name to look at in the future.
