ROMi (Ron Verboom) has always been interested in making his own music. In the 90's he released his 'Ego-logic EP' with 4 clubby sounding tracks on it. In 1995 he decided to take part in a Moby remixcontest. His 'Dementia Remix' became one of the winners of the 'Everytime You Touch Me' remixcontest which came as a big surprise for him. It was after a break of 8 years when he picked up his hobby again and started making trancemusic. He was very impressed that it now was possible to make cool music with a computer only. He then learned a lot by experimenting with programs like FL-studio, Reason and Logic. Soon he was asked to make some remixes for artists on the 'A Different Drum' label, an American synthpoplabel. He got some great response on these remixes.

Now, after 3 years of learning these cool programs and developing his own sound his own trancetracks have been released. The 'Logical Way EP' including 'Observing the Sky' and 'Technological World' has been released on Total Digital Recordings and a 5 track EP has recently been released on Fourty-5, a sublabel of Bonzai, under his alias 'Defiance' including 'Between Sea and Sky'. His tracks already had great support by dj's like Tiësto, Markus Schulz, Above & Beyond, Armin van Buuren, Johan Gielen and a lot more.
