Morgan Leigh is a country singer-songwriter born and raised in Southern California. Leigh was recently on Season 12 American Idol making it to the semi finals as one of the top 40 girls in the country. Over the years, Leigh has been awarded titles such as: Arizona State Winner of Texaco Country Showdown (2013), Top 8 American Country Star (2013), Top Ten Best Female Vocalist (IPOP), Best Female Singer (Star Rep.), Artist to Watch 2013, Jag Idol, and 3rd Runner Up Teen Star of the Year (Las Vegas). Recently, The Morgan Leigh Band won the Bank of the West online competition and opened for legendary rockers, Pat Benatar and Loverboy in Omaha, NE in front of 73,000 people. In the spring of 2011, she released her first four-song EP, Sugar, co-written with Grammy nominated superstar, Jamie O’Neal, and produced by Nashville engineer, Rodney Good. In 2011 Leigh also began songwriting with fellow singer-songwriter, Paul Coughlin.

With great anticipation, Leigh and Coughlin began recording their first full length album, "Trouble", to be released June 2014. Staying true to California Country, they chose to work with upcoming producer, Daniel Martin, at ReAmp Recording Studios in Southern California. Thanks to their fans and family, Leigh was able to raise full funds through Kickstarter.
